By accessing or using Ranken (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

Ranken is an AI-powered blogging platform that allows users to create, publish, and manage blog content on custom subdomains or custom domains. The Service includes AI writing assistance, SEO tools, analytics, and publishing infrastructure.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ranken. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

Account Creation

You must create an account to access most features of Ranken. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@ranken.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

One Account per Person

You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, abuse free trials, or violate these Terms.

Permitted Use

You may use Ranken only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to publish only content that you own or have the legal right to use.

Prohibited Content

You must not publish, distribute, or promote: (a) content that infringes intellectual property rights; (b) hate speech, harassment, or content that promotes violence; (c) spam, phishing, or misleading information; (d) illegal content including malware or content that exploits minors; (e) content that violates any applicable law or regulation.

Prohibited Actions

You must not: attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service; scrape data at scale without permission; use automated means to create accounts or generate spam; interfere with the infrastructure or security of Ranken; resell or sublicense the Service without authorisation.

Ownership

You retain full ownership of the content you create and publish through Ranken. We do not claim ownership over your blog posts, images, or other materials.

License to Ranken

By publishing content through the Service, you grant Ranken a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you publish. Ranken does not endorse any user content and expressly disclaims any liability arising from content published by users.

Use of AI Tools

Ranken provides AI writing assistance features powered by third-party models. Content generated by AI tools is provided as a starting point and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking ownership of any AI-generated content before publishing. You must not use AI features to generate content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Paid Plans

Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorise us to charge your payment method at the beginning of each billing cycle.

Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Refunds

All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion in cases of billing errors.

Price Changes

We may change our pricing at any time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change affects your subscription.

Ranken IP

The Service, including its design, software, trademarks, and logos, is owned by Ranken and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

Feedback

If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the Service, you grant Ranken a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

Ranken integrates with third-party services such as Google, Replit, and xAI/Grok. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Ranken is not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. RANKEN DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RANKEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.

By You

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid fees.

By Ranken

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
